I use this game all the time– with Barton and non-Barton kids, to improve their phonemic awareness skills. You can focus on just the sounds they need to work on, and it includes all of the digraphs from the end of Book 2. It’s easy to transport for tutors on the go!

What a boon for my little kiddos, who struggle so much with the foundational cornerstone of phonological awareness–phonemic awareness! The game is a great tool for strengthening that skill before moving on to consonant blends, the concept of closed and unit syllables, and the spelling rules founds in Level 3 of the Barton Reading and Spelling System. Nice job, Janna!

I now own all your games. I don’t think that my profoundly dyslexic son could have made progress in the Barton System without your games. Thank you for creating and selling them!!!!

These games are very well liked by all of my kids. They look forward to playing them. Also, in addition to being a review of concepts learned, they increase vocabulary. The photos on the cards are excellent for illustrating the meaning of words used in the Barton System. The games are very well made and professionally made. They are ready to use as soon as you get them. I would highly recommend all of the games.

My students always ask to play a game before we finish lessons. They look forward to the games & winning! The games build confidence & reinforce the lessons. Thank you, Janna!
